Direct, plain-language answers about medical document organization, AI summaries, privacy, and doctor sharing.
MedicalHistoryAI is a secure medical document organization and summarization platform. It turns scattered medical files (PDFs, lab reports, prescriptions, hospital summaries) into an organized, chronological health history that patients can understand and securely share with their healthcare providers.
No. MedicalHistoryAI is strictly an organization and summarization tool. It does not diagnose diseases, prescribe medications, or replace professional medical consultations. All AI summaries extract what is explicitly written in your uploaded files to help you and your doctor review records faster.
When you upload a record, our AI extracts the text, identifies key information (diagnoses, medications, test results, vitals, provider names), and creates a clean, structured summary. This happens once per document — results are saved in private storage, so every future view is instant and creates zero additional AI cost.
You can upload PDF files, JPG, and PNG images up to 20MB each. This includes blood tests, pathology reports, discharge summaries, imaging reports, vaccination records, and doctor prescription notes.
Your medical files are encrypted and stored in private Cloudflare R2 buckets. They are never publicly indexed or accessible to search engines. Access is guarded by Firebase Authentication, 256-bit secure share tokens, optional passcode gates, and audit logging.
No. Doctors do NOT need to register or create an account to view a temporary patient-shared record. When you generate a share link, your doctor can open and review the authorized summaries, timeline, and documents directly on their computer or mobile device.
Yes. You choose exactly what to share: medical summary, timeline, or original documents. You can choose link expiration (24 hours, 7 days, or custom days) and revoke access immediately at any time with a single click.
Our system chronologically organizes your health events by year and date based on the records you upload. You can click on any event in the timeline to inspect the details or jump directly to the original source document.
It compiles your relevant health history, active medications, and recent lab tests into a concise, 1-page clinical briefing. It also lets you add your own personal symptoms and questions for the doctor, clearly separating patient-entered notes from official medical record facts.
Yes. You can delete individual records or your entire account at any time. Deleting a record permanently purges the file from Cloudflare R2 and removes all associated summaries and timeline entries.
